Your Role as a Service Technician
As a Service Technician, you will work under the direction of the Service Manager and Community Manager to complete maintenance requests, preventative maintenance, and general repairs. This role plays a key part in supporting resident satisfaction and protecting the physical condition of the community.
You will contribute to a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment while collaborating closely with on-site teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete maintenance and repair work in residential units, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and carpentry
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections to identify and address issues early
- Respond promptly to service requests and ensure quality, timely resolution
- Assist with apartment make-readies and unit turnovers
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas and maintenance spaces
- Support inventory tracking and notify leadership when supplies are low
- Assist with vendor coordination and special maintenance projects as assigned
- Participate in emergency response efforts and support community operational needs
- Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, and team members
Our Ideal Candidate for this Role
Education
- High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent level of education and experience.
Preferred Certifications
- EPA certification preferred
- HVAC certification preferred
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification a plus
Experience & Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in apartment or property maintenance
- Flexibility and availability for on-call duty and emergency repairs.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle is required for this role for the purpose of on-call emergencies.
- Must be willing to perform additional duties such as snow removal, and unit touch ups.

- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to maintenance and safety
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
