Your Role as a Leasing Consultant
As a Leasing Consultant, you will play a key role in welcoming prospective residents and guiding them through the leasing process. This role supports marketing efforts, maintains strong resident relationships, and helps ensure the community meets occupancy and customer service goals.
You will represent the community with professionalism and enthusiasm, helping create a positive first impression and an engaging leasing experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist prospective residents, providing tours and answering questions about the community
- Guide prospects through the application and leasing process
- Deliver exceptional customer service to both prospective and current residents
- Support marketing and outreach efforts, including online listings and community events
- Prepare lease documents, process applications, and maintain accurate resident records
- Maintain detailed knowledge of the community, amenities, and surrounding neighborhood
- Collaborate with on-site management and leasing teams to achieve occupancy goals
- Assist with resident move-ins, communications, and general office support as needed
Our Ideal Candidate for this Role
Education
- High school diploma or GED required; equivalent experience may be considered
Experience & Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in leasing, sales, customer service, or a professional office environment
- Experience in multifamily leasing, sales, or hospitality preferred
- Class A or luxury multifamily experience a plus
- Flexibility to work some evenings; must be able to work weekends
- A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle is required for this role for purpose of routine outreach marketing and shopping comps; mileage reimbursement will be provided at IRS current rate.
